)- Sign up for the IHEEP golf outing, a great time for fresh air and fun. This year’s event will be held at the Sandia Golf Course, Albuquerque, NM, one of New Mexico’s premier courses. The format is four person scramble so don’t worry about those special shots we all hit once in a while. Relax and bask in the shadow of the majestic Sandia Mountain. Enjoy the Par 72 7,785 yards (from the black tees) desert links course. We will all enjoy a delicious meal at the conclusion of play to relive the day’s most memorable shots and drown our sorrows.

Engineering Document Management Systems in a DOT environment:
Choosing the right Engineering Document Management system for your DOT environment is an extremely important one. Many factors impact this decision such as functionality, dynamics of implementation, scalability, support efforts, and obviously costs. This roundtable is intended to discuss lessons learned from each represented DOT’s members on their experiences implementing their Engineering Document Management System. Focus will be to discuss lessons learned on factors involved in software decisions, implementation efforts, and investment returns (assumed or real). The overall emphasis will be to disseminate information to those DOT’s that have not implemented an EDMS system and are interested in doing so, and for those who have begun the task of implementing their own.

Guest Activity: Sandia Peak Tram - A trip on the world’s longest aerial tramway transports you above deep canyons and breathtaking terrain a distance of 2.7 miles. See some of nature’s more dramatic beauty unfold before you. At sunset the desert skies produce a spectacular array of color, and your vantage point from the observation deck atop 10,378 foot Sandia Peak in the Cibola National Forest affords an 11,000 square-mile panoramic view of the Rio Grande Valley and the Land of Enchantment. Located on the eastern edge of Albuquerque in the Sandia Foothills at the end of Tramway Road. If you have respiratory problems please be advised that there will be no medical staff on board the Tram.
Lunch will be served from 12:00pm - 1:00pm for delegates not attending the activity to Sandia Peak Tram.
Dinner will be a Vendor sponsored reception served from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Menu will include Steamship Round of Beef, Whole Carved Tom Turkey, Pasta and Oriental dishes. There will also be a fine assortment of Cheeses and desserts.
Technology Partners Hospitality Room will be open from 8:30pm-11:00am.

Breakfast will be served from 6:30am - 8:00am and the menu will be a Southeastern Buffet.
Guest Activity: Old Town Albuquerque - On Monday we will be taking a walk through history around Albuquerque's Old Town Plaza, the serene village that has been the focal point of community life since 1706. Guest Activity: On Wednesday, September 17, 2008, we will be driving north to the oldest Capital City in the United States, Santa Fe. We will have guided tours of downtown Santa Fe and we will be having lunch at the Palace of the Governors, in their court yard. We will be going up to Museum Hill at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, where you can visit the different museums which make up the different cultures of Santa Fe.

Dinner- Wednesday evening we will be spending the evening at The Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum is the world's premiere facility dedicated to the art, culture, science, history, sport and spectacle of ballooning. It features one of the finest collections of ballooning equipment and memorabilia in the world. We will be having a Spanish Buffett, Mariachi Music, by Mariachi Tenampa and Spanish Dancers throughout the evening. There will be balloon rides up to 75 feet in the air.

Day Activity: Indian Pueblo Cultural Center - Thursday, September 18, 2008 we will be touring the Indian Cultural Center in Albuquerque. We will be entertained by Native American dancers and have a Traditional Native American lunch and a tour of the museum. Were we will learn about the history of the different pueblo’s in New Mexico and what each of their customs an dances mean to each of the pueblos.
Conference Banquet - The closing banquet will be held Thursday evening in the Ballroom of the Thursday evening in the ballroom of the Marriott Uptown from 5:30pm - 8:00pm. A fitting end to a week of education and excitement.
