Scope
The 2008 International Highway Engineering Exchange Program (IHEEP) will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, from September 14-18, 2008, and will be hosted by the New Mexico Department of Transportation. IHEEP promotes the exchange of information relating to the uses of Information Systems (IS) technology in highway and bridge engineering, as well as other transportation-related fields. This International annual meeting is an excellent opportunity to present these developments, experiences, and best practices to colleagues from all over the World and to discuss current and emerging challenges in the transportation engineering technology fields and needs.
Papers and presentations are being solicited in the following conference technology areas: |

Speaker Profiles must be submitted by August 8, 2008.
Abstracts will be reviewed by the 2008 IHEEP Technical Program Committee. Authors will be notified regarding the acceptance of their abstracts and submission requirements for their presentations. Please submit your profile as early as possible. Speaker Profile/Abstract
Presentations will be submitted to the Technical Program Committee by September 1, 2008. To reduce the chance of technical problems it is asked that Microsoft's PowerPoint be used to create the presentation. Should the presentation include video clips, it is recommended that the PAL video format is used. The presentations will be installed ahead of time on IHEEP’s laptops for each session. Presenters are encouraged to use these laptops to avoid audio/visual issues and insure a smooth transition between sessions.
