Welcome to the 2008 IHEEP Conference registration information site.  We have listed below the following information to assist you in making your registration choices.  The registration types differentiate whether you want to be a full registrant (all days) versus a one day registrant, and differentiates between a delegate, associate, retiree, or a guest registration.  We next list the registration costs, how to register as a Supporting Organization, how to register for events and tours, and how payments can be made.  Follow the blue text links to find further information.

REGISTRATION TYPES:

Delegate Member – Employee of a National, State, County or Municipal Transportation Engineering Agency – (examples: DOTs, DOR, AOT, TA or Highway Dept) - [Delegate is a voting member]

Associate Member – Employee of an organization associated with Transportation Engineering – (examples: Engineering, Surveying and IT Consultants, Engineering, Surveying and IT Software or Hardware Vendors, and transportation-related Providers of Engineering Services) - [Associate is a non-voting member] and is not applicable to exhibitor booth space rental.

Supporting Organization – Consultant and/or Vendor who chooses to support the conference by renting a booth, or by subsidizing an event, novelty item or program advertisement.

Retiree – Former Delegate or Associate Member who has retired from any employment related to the Transportation Engineering field.

Guest – Someone who is accompanying a Delegate or Associate Member (or Retiree), and will be attending the guest program but will not be participating in the Technical Program (Presentation Sessions). 

REGISTRATION COSTS:

  • Full Delegate or Associate Member = $400/person on or before 7/31/08, or $425/person on or after 8/01/08.
  • Full Guest or Retiree = $200/person

REGISTRATION TO ATTEND EVENTS OR TECHNICAL TOURS:

  • Please register early (online) for conference events or technical tours.
  • Conference Events do not have a limit on the number of attendees.

REGISTRATION PAYMENTS:

The 2008 IHEEP Conference has instituted a totally automated registration system which will accept payments by:

Credit Cards – Pertinent account information for VISA, MasterCard or American Express credit cards can be input on line to charge your costs. Invoices can be printed from the website to indicate accrued charges. Actual charges to the credit card will not occur until 1-3 business days after completion of registration to allow the registration administrator time to confirm the appropriate charges were assessed. Credit card payments need to be authorized prior to July 31, 2008 to be accepted at the lower early registration rate, otherwise credit card authorizations made after August 1, 2008 will be adjusted if necessary and only accepted at the higher late registration rate.

Purchase Orders – PO’s are accepted as a document conveying the intent to pay for conference expenses. PO’s will be accepted for payment of registration costs at the early rate only if a copy of the PO is received prior to August 1, 2008, (copies may be faxed, or scanned and emailed).

Payment by Check – Payments may be made by personal or company check. To mail your payment please print a copy of your invoice from the registration site, include it along with your check and mail it according to the directions included on the payment website. To qualify for the early registration rate, the on-line registration must be completed and the check received before August 1, 2008. On-site payments to be made by check at the registration desk of the conference shall only be accepted at the late registration rate.

Registrations may initially be partially completed on line and then return at a later date to be finished or to make payments.
