Airport

The Albuquerque area is served by the Sunport International Airport (www.cabq.gov/airport), which is 9 miles and a 10 minute drive from the Albuquerque Marriott Hotel.  The Albuquerque Marriott (www.Marriott.com/ABQNM) (505)881-6800 DOES NOT offers a complimentary hotel shuttle to and from the airport.  However, the Sunport International Airport DOES provide a shuttle from the airport to the hotel and back for a one way fee of $14 per person.  Rental cars are available at the airport (see below).  In addition, the airport has local transit bus service  (http://www.cabq.gov/airport/pdf/RRSunport.pdf) and other ground transportation and taxi service is provide at the airport  (see below).

New Mexico Department of Transportation will also provide free shuttles to and from the Sunport International Airport to the Albuquerque Marriott Hotel.  Please see attached tentative schedule for NMDOT shuttles.  Please call Dwight J. Local Transit Services

The City of Albuquerque provides local transit bus service to the many tourist attractions within the city.  There is a City Bus terminal just outside of the front of the Albuquerque Marriott that our out of town guest can take advantage of.  The transit buses run rapid routes to all the local malls, museums, zoo, old town plaza, etc.  Please click on the link below to find the route that best suits you and your transportation needs.  The local transit bus services web site also include a trip and route planner so our out of town guests can plan their routes and daily trip through use of the local transit buses, see link below.

Car Rentals

Car rental customer service counters and ready/return lots are now located at the Sunport Car Rental Center, 3400 University Blvd. SE. Car rental shuttles provide transportation between the terminal building and the Car Rental Center.
Shuttles run every 5 minutes from the commercial lane located outside the 1st level of the airport terminal building.
Shuttle buses are handicap accessible.
